Rennes

I recently went on a family holiday to a lovely town in France called Rennes, although we stayed in a place called Josselin.  Its fairly north of France which people tend to have misconceptions about as they think the beaches are not as nice and that they think it rains five out seven days, but my friends, this is not the case haha. The weather was absolutely fantastic, 28 degrees plus, but I must admit it did rain about five days out of the two weeks we spent there.

You could compare it to the English version of Whales, but with better weather, slightly better beaches and of coarse, better baguettes and pastries!!!

We stayed in the most fantastic Chateau which had a pool and a huge garden which both myself and my brother enjoyed running around as if we were both still six years old because to be honest, who really grows up? In my mind I'm Peter Pan. We enjoyed games of cricket and tennis on the vast amount of garden the chateau had to offer us.

There is quite a lot of little sleepy beaches behind rocks where the water is clear and very wavy. If you're a budding surfer, its the perfect place to come as the waves do get quite high. Myself and my brother enjoyed some time on our boogie boards haha.

Nestled in the garden was a little hut where I spent most of my evenings reading in as the sun set.....so romantic.....maybe not haha

Mum trying to take a nice photo but when the brain of a twelve year old is told that he must behave for a photo, something tells them to do the opposite haha.....classic bunny ears!!!

This little town was absolutely adorable. It is well known for having lots of galleries, and lots of galleries it had. We spent most of the day pondering in and out of lots of different types of them, much to my brothers despair haha.

Another great thing to do in Rennes is water sports on the lakes which we enjoyed a lot when the weather wasn't as good.

PEACE
xoxo
