This morning myself and two close friends decided to go out for breakfast at Duck & Waffle. It is a restaurant located on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower.
Its a great place to meet up with friends for brunch or a romantic date in the evening for supper.
Being that is was on the 40th floor, there were some absolutely breathtaking views of London.
As they are open 24/7, you could be adventurous and go for a very early breakfast and watch the sunrise!!!
The breakfast menu is fairly large and you can order things from waffles to a full english breakfast.
I went for waffles with Nutella and bananas. The bananas had a gorgeous caramelised top. I also ordered a selection of fresh pastries which consisted of a pain au chocolat and a croissant.
I would defiantly recommend that if you go during the day, go on a day when the weather is nice as it really makes the experience much more enjoyable.
I would recommend Duck & Waffle purely for the views, but the food is also great and affordable. Prices range from £6-£18 which in my opinion is fair for a great breakfast/brunch/dinner with fantastic views.
Doesn't London look fantastic from above....I wish I was a bird!!! xo
