This is a very belated post. I visited New York in February 2012 but I thought some one out there would find this some what interesting.
Day 1
We arrived in Manhattan around 3.00pm and after a long and tiring flight we headed straight to our hotel, the pod.
It's in the most incredible location, just blocks away from 5th avenue and times square, perfect for the budding tourist I am.
After having a short and not very recuperating rest, we headed to the famous times square to sit on the red TKTS steps to watch the yellow cabs drive past and stare at the hundreds of bright bill boards.
After we had finished being tourists for the evening we headed to the restaurant Bubba gumps, a famous ''fast food'' restaurant well known for serving shrimps. Being my awkward self and dislking shrimps, I went for the classic American cheese burger, served on a piece of what appeared to be news paper haha.
After taking a little too many photos of times square alone, we walked back to our hotel room for some much needed sleep.......Day 2 to follow shortly
